Chiropractic care is a safe, natural form of health care that focuses on maintaining the well-being of the brain and spinal cord, also known as the central nervous system, as it relates to the overall function of the human body.
In Motion Chiropractic and Rehabilitation believes in the importance of identifying and removing any interference within the central nervous system in order to restore healthy bodily communication and promote lifelong wellness.
In 1895 Dr. Daniel David Palmer founded chiropractic care, and over 100 years later his concepts are still helping society achieve healthy nervous system function. The nervous system is responsible for coordinating all functions of the human body, so while many people may only consider the ramifications of spinal cord abnormalities local to the neck or lower back – there is so much more at stake. Organ function, inflammation, and immune system strength are all directly impacted by central nervous system function. So while more typical afflictions may include headaches, neck or lower back pain, and disk herniations – the central nervous system impacts everything we do as humans.
Dr. T is committed to evaluating each patient individually, locating the problem, and making appropriate adjustments to promote decreased pain and discomfort. Most patients experience quick, if not immediate, relief following care.
One of the foremost reasons our clients found their way into our offices was a very common pain symptom experienced by 80% of American adults. Can you guess what it was? If you guessed “low back pain or stiffness” then you guessed correctly. Research has shown that one in every ten American adults live with constant LBP and eight out of every ten adults will experience symptomatic onset LBP at some point. Now, LBP is one of many reasons people begin their health and wellness journey with chiropractics, however it doesn’t end there. Once our clients experience the plethora of benefits one can reap from proper spinal care or any of our other services offered – they simply can’t get enough. So while you may be considering chiropractics for one particular symptom or issue, your curiosity could open the door for your overall health and quality of life that is unimaginable for many. Don’t let your symptoms worsen or live under the guise that “pain is just a part of life”. We assure you, there are lifestyle choices and care plans available to live with minimal to no pain.
In Motion Chiropractic and Rehabilitation is an evidence-based practice. This means we rely on a variety of proven methods to help each patient achieve optimal results. Although Dr. T mainly practices using Diversified Technique, a hands-on approach to care, he is also trained in Graston Technique, the Gonstead technique, and additional upper cervical adjustment methods. Dr. T is heavily trained in these methods because it allows him to observe the patient and choose which path of correction is most suitable on a case-by-case basis.
While Gonstead technique is a manual adjustment that involves a precise thrust to encourage correction, Graston technique is instrument-assisted soft tissue therapy. Upper cervical adjustments are required the most focus and care, as they are specifically designed to correct subluxations in the uppermost region of the spine.
Each of our techniques are used to better assist with certain types of injuries and will be explained to the patient when they come in for their initial exam and report of findings. Your health and comfort are our top priority.

Adjustment (or manipulation) of a joint may result in the release of a gas bubble between the joints, which makes a popping sound. The same thing occurs when you “crack” your knuckles. The noise is caused by the change of pressure within the joint, which results in gas bubbles being released. There is usually minimal, if any, discomfort involved.
